Fresh Beets

So easy to do and fresh beets lend themselves so well to many applications. I especially enjoy them with goat cheese as a appetizer or a salad mixed with toasted nuts. I apologize this video is redundant but I thought maybe some wouldn't look under the salad category to find out how to steam beets.

Ingredients:

Fresh Beets

Wash, cut off the ends, peel, slice, chop, cut into sticks or? and steam for 6 to 12 minutes (depending on thickness.)

This is just a simple how-to suggestion where we demonstrate how to steam fresh beets.
