Pumpkin Gateau

Although my wife says chocolate or nothing for dessert (and for her, "fruit is for breakfast") once in a while we have to serve something else when we have guests.

So, here I'm making two cakes at the same time: our chocolate gateau that we served at the restaurant, and a second using pumpkin "butter" that was given to me instead of chocolate.

Ingredients for Chocolate Gateau (cake):

8 oz Dark Chocolate
1/2 cup water
1/4 # unsalted butter
5 eggs separated
1/4 c flour
1/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla

Ingredients for Pumpkin Gateau (cake):

Same as for Chocolate but substitute pumpkin butter for chocolate (see video)

Please watch the video to see how to do this. Trying to explain the "moistness" of the egg whites and what the cake should look like when it comes out of the oven before yo put a plate on it, is impossible in a written recipe.
