My
nephew Justin loves escargot. So I thought it would be fun
to introduce him to other ways to prepare and enjoy snails.
Fact is, you can do just about anything you want with them.
So here's our day playing with some snail options. We did
a three course lunch; with our appetizer being the classic
escargot we had served at the restaurant, an Italian influenced
pasta dish second, and more of a of French main course third.
Ingredients:
Favorite
garlic- parsley butter (this one is from the Black Sheep's
Video Cookbook Vol 1)
snails
snail
shells
To
make:
Soften
your favorite
garlic butter, put some in the shells, add a snail, spoon
in some more butter, and bake till hot and bubbling.
Serve with lots of crispy bread to soak up that wonderful
butter!
