French Toast
From last night's French Bread

Although not my normal breakfast, it is a personal favorite and a great way to use up lasts night bread from a dinner party.


Day old French bread
2 eggs
Whipping Cream
Fresh Strawberries
Sweet Butter
Maple Syrup

Simple to make, just make an egg batter with 2 eggs and a little cream, dip 1/2 inch rounds of bread and cook in butter. For this sauce we used sliced strawberries warmed in butter with a little Maple Syrup. We added some fresh whipped cream with a little vanilla and sugar and topped it with a fresh strawberry.

Just about any favorite fruit or berry can be used!
