Cabbage in Duck Fat

This makes a great side dish or vegetable to compliment numerous meat dishes. Most people who thought they didn't like cabbage loved it cooked this way!

Ingredients:

Cabbage, duck fat

Seasonings - Rick's Chef Salt, salt

To make:

Cut cabbage into 3 inch strips, melt duck fat in large pan, and cook cabbage 'till tender but still bright green. Season with Rick's Chef Salt & salt to taste.

End Note

A simple variation is to saute some fresh minced garlic in the duck fat first, then add the cabbage and season. Leftovers are great to add to bean and vegetable stews.
